At the Fauquier Free Clinic, our dental team is made up of compassionate professionals dedicated to restoring health, confidence, and dignity through quality dental care. In addition to our clinical staff, we are incredibly fortunate to have many volunteer dental providers who generously serve our patients each week, helping expand access to essential care for the members of our community who need it most.

Deepa Subramanian, DDS

​Dr. Deepa Subramanian has been serving patients at the Fauquier Free Clinic since 2015. She earned her dental education from New York University College of Dentistry and Meenakshi Ammal Dental College in Chennai, India. Prior to joining the clinic, she practiced with Heartland Dental from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Subramanian is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care and helping patients achieve healthier smiles in a welcoming environment.

Amber Hasan, DMD
​

Dr. Amber Hasan is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach to dentistry and has been practicing in Northern Virginia for more than 10 years. Before moving to the United States in 2010, she worked as a general dentist in her home country, bringing a valuable global perspective to her care.
Dr. Hasan earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree magna cum laude from the Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry and continues to pursue advanced education in restorative dentistry, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and evidence-based techniques. She is passionate about creating positive patient experiences while utilizing the latest technologies and advancements in dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Hasan enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and theater performances, and exploring local festivals.

Jasmine Lee, DDS

Dr. Jasmine Lee is a kind, diligent, and honest dentist who is passionate about serving communities in need through compassionate dental care. She graduated from Rice University and earned her dental degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Lee is dedicated to helping patients restore healthy, confident smiles while creating a welcoming and supportive experience for everyone she treats. Whether communicating in English, Spanish, Korean, or through other means, she works closely with patients to ensure they feel understood and cared for throughout their treatment.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and young children.

Helena Overman, RDH

Helena Overman is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been serving patients at the Fauquier Free Clinic for more than six years. She earned her Associate of Science degree from Northern Virginia Community College before completing her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Helena is dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate preventive care and helping patients improve their overall oral health. She is an active member of both the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.

Tabitha Freeman, RDH

Tabitha Freeman is a Registered Dental Hygienist at the Fauquier Free Clinic who is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable while promoting preventive care and long-term oral health. Originally from Manassas, Virginia, she earned her Associate of Science degree from Northern Virginia Community College and later completed her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene.
In addition to her work in dentistry, Tabitha is actively involved in her local Special Olympics program as an Area Coordinator. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and supporting her community. She lives in Culpeper with her partner and their blended family.

Sophie L. Oswald, DDS

Dr. Sophie Oswald is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-focused care. Born in Vietnam and raised in London, England, she brings a unique global perspective and a deep commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment experience.
Dr. Oswald earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from George Mason University before graduating with highest honors from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. She is passionate about delivering personalized care and helping patients achieve improved oral health and quality of life through advanced surgical treatment.
Known for her calm and reassuring approach, Dr. Oswald strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel informed, supported, and cared for every step of the way.
