Virginia has made significant progress with COVID vaccinations, with more than 2 million doses administered. Even so, there are still simply not enough doses available yet for everyone who is eligible to receive them.
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District is in Phase 1c of vaccine eligibility. They will continue to vaccinate anyone in Phase 1a and 1b who registers to receive it.
The Fauquier Free Clinic has begun receiving vaccine allocations, however we are extremely limited and the community sites are able to vaccinate more individuals per week than we are. We are reaching out to our highest-risk patients for every dose we receive.
STEPS YOU CAN TAKE...
1. CHECK THE LIST. Learn more about the vaccination process in Virginia and check your pre-registration status. When you check the list you can see if you are already pre-registered, so that you only register once and can see where you are on the waitlist.
2. SIGN UP. If you are not currently on the pre-registration list, sign up to receive your Covid-19 vaccine. Receive updates and notifications for when it's your turn to make an appointment.
3. VERIFY AND UPDATE YOUR RECORDS. Check and ensure your information is correct. Carefully review and save your information if you have any changes.
**Important notice: If you are eligible to make an appointment at any of the community vaccination sites, please take advantage of that opportunity. Please do not wait for your vaccine to be administered at the Fauquier Free Clinic, as our supply is limited and waitlist could be longer. The Covid-19 Vaccine that is first available for you is the best choice for you.
