OUR 1ST EVER
VIRTUAL ROUGH RIDE

SEPTEMBER 14 - 19, 2020

GEAR UP! We’re looking forward, once again, to our annual Rough Ride event... although this year it’s going to look a little different. We’re going to be hosting a virtual ride so you can support our clinic from anywhere,
while keeping our community safe!

EVENT DETAILS

The Rappahannock Rough Ride is our yearly one-day bike tour event. Year after year, this event is a chance for people to escape the crowds and explore the backroads of Rappahannock County. All of the proceeds from the ride benefit the Fauquier Free Clinic.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year our Rough Ride event is going to look a little different. We will be hosting a virtual ride so that participants can support the free clinic from anywhere, while keeping our community safe.

Participants will register for the event on bikereg.com and join the race virtually. The event will be held over the week of September 14th - 19th, where riders can get their miles from wherever they are, including their local trails, backroads, cycling/spin classes or home gyms.

The Free Clinic will have a Facebook Group dedicated to this event to foster a sense of community and collaboration. Participants can use this platform to raise awareness for the cause, share their personal course/setting for the event, updates on mileage, and celebrate their achievement upon completing the challenge.

The proceeds from this event will raise critical funds for the Free Clinic. Every dollar raised contributes to local health care access and helps provide thousands of clinician visits per year.
